Around Town

It's about to get a whole lot easier to head to Dubai Parks And Resorts.

The Roads and Transport Authority has launched a new bus route that runs directly to the attraction.

From Tuesday April 17, the DPR1 service will run from Ibn Battuta Metro Station to the park.

It will pass through several popular spots including the Ibn Battuta Mall's Food Corner and The Gardens Junction at Jebel Ali before proceeding to the attraction.

Officials hope the bus will help thousands of visitors to reach the parks each month.

Dubai Parks And Resorts launched in 2016, bringing with it roller coasters and much more.

It spans a vast 25 million square feet of desert between Dubai and Abu Dhabi and is the UAE’s largest multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination.

It features more than 100 rides and attractions across three theme parks – motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai and LEGOLAND Dubai – as well as the LEGOLAND Water Park.
