Season-ending pool party coming to Barasti

Say hello to summer at this afternoon poolside session

1/3

As the season draws towards its close, clubs up and down the city are getting ready to say goodbye to spring in style.

Firstly, we’re saying goodbye (permanently, sadly) to iconic Dubai haunt 360˚ on Saturday May 12. Nasimi Beach has already shut its doors for a massive refurb which will keep the beach club shut until the end of 2018. Meanwhile, Zero Gravity, our Beach Club of the Year, is welcoming Jonas Blue for One Big Friday on Friday May 11, and Markus Schulz on Thursday 10.

And that’s naming just a few, plenty others, like Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE, Gotha and more, are all saying a short au revoir as summer kicks in.

One of those clubs is Barasti, which has announced that another edition of its Sunsets festival is coming back for a last hurrah before summer, albeit in a slightly more condensed version compared to last November’s three-day festival (which featured an awesome floating bar, by the way.

On Saturday May 12, head over to Barasti and chill out by the pool, where there’ll be a whole bunch of different drinks promotions, music performances and even the odd spot of body art going on. Taking place from 1pm until 5pm, you’ll be able to properly chill out by the pool and make the most of the weather before it starts getting balmy.

If, by the way, you’re looking for more things to do before summer kicks in, check out this list of amazing, temperature-dependant activities.
Free. Sat May 12, 1pm-5pm. Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street (04 318 1313).
