Plans for a massive new Dhs1.3 billion residential project in JLT have been unveiled, with shops, a nursery, restaurants and a rooftop pool.

Seven City JLT will be the work of property builder Seven Tides and will take up an entire cluster and include 150,000 sq ft of retail space.

In addition to the ground and mezzanine level, the project will include five floors of podium and 27 floors of residential units made up of studios and one, two and three bedroom apartments.

The development will be located in JLT’s cluster Z and will overlook the Emirates and Montgomerie golf clubs, as well as boasting views of the Palm Jumeirah, Ain Dubai observation wheel, the lakes at JLT and Jumeirah Islands.

The project is reportedly already 15 percent complete and is expected to be totally finished by the third quarter of 2021.

There will also be a gym, an infinity pool, a rooftop garden, a supermarket and plenty of car parking spaces to make it easy to enjoy all of the above.

We are let to learn about the restaurants that will be opening inside, though we have our ears firmly to the ground.

If you want to learn more about what’s happening in JLT, take a look at our comprehensive guide to the area, for the best café’s and restaurants on offer.

We can’t wait to see the new development (and hit the shops).
