Win a trip for two to go ice biking in Dubai

Check out this week’s Time Out Dubai vlog, and bag yourself an awesome prize

Taking to the ice is something everyone loves doing – kids, grown-ups and big kids alike all love a bit of skating – and in the most recent episode of Time Out Dubai Vlogs, we took it to the extreme.

At The Dubai Mall in Downtown Dubai, you can now go and race your mates on specially constructed ice bikes.

They’re sort of like low-slung tricycles, and it’s so easy to learn that practically anyone can do it. It’s especially good for those of us who can only embarrass ourselves on proper skates.

The Time Out Dubai team went over to the mall to check out the new attraction, and life on the ice heated up pretty quickly when Emma, Darragh and Tim’s fiery inner competitors came roaring out.

There was barging, dirty tactics and all sorts of cheating, and it made for a brilliant hour spent tearing around the rink.

By checking out the video below, you can also win an ice-biking experience for you and a friend, valid for one month after Eid al-Fitr. All you have to do is subscribe to the Time Out Dubai YouTube channel (just click here) and then comment on the video.

While you’re at it, why not subscribe to the Time Out Dubai YouTube channel (which you should have already done, if not, where have you been?), because we’ve got weekly episodes showing you the best way to enjoy this magnificent city.

We’ve flung ourselves out of planes, off of mountains and skyscrapers, we’ve taken on the city’s top food challenges, we’ve kissed a sea lion, we’ve fallen out of supercars and now we’ve raced against each other on these awesome new bikes.

A new episode is out every Thursday – click here to check them all out.
