Two spectacular Eid firework shows at Dubai Festival City Mall

Mall hours will be extended throughout the weekend

With Eid al-Fitr only a few days away, Dubai will be buzzing with plenty of celebrations for people to enjoy. And Dubai Festival City Mall has a host of treats for shoppers who spend this weekend there.

On Friday June 15 the mall will be putting on two musical Eid firework shows at 9pm and 10.30pm, and it’s sure to be quite the spectacle.

It’s free to watch and for the best views be sure to pick a spot early on along Festival Bay.

There will be other activities as well, including The Walking Box roaming entertainment that will be, well, walking around the whole mall from Thursday all the way to Monday (June 18).

The shopping complex will also be extending its hours throughout Eid, now opening from 10am until 1am, for those who can’t get enough shopping done.

In collaboration with Disney, shoppers can also experience the Magical Wishing Well, where guests can write a greeting of their choice and submit it in one of the mall’s Disney pods.

Participants can visit Festival Square to watch their message appear at the wishing well through light and music, which is then captured as a photo so people can send it to a special someone.

Dubai Festival City is also home to the world record-breaking IMAGINE show, which will be performing its A Star Dance (7pm and 9pm) and A Child’s Dream (8pm and 10pm) performances throughout the four days.

The mall is expecting a lot of people coming to celebrate, so it advises visitors hoping to dine to book in advance.
