Join a full moon drumming class

Nothing puts you back in touch with your primeval roots faster than a corporate full moon drumming retreat. OK, maybe not the corporate bit but the popularity of this activity as a team building exercise has not been overlooked by big business in Dubai. Turn up for a full moon drumming session with the Dubai Drums group and you’re swept along with the enthusiasm of the instructors and a regular crowd. There are events all around Dubai but we suggest the full moon sessions because they give an excuse to head out into the desert to get your rhythm on under star lit skies. The beat of the African djembe drum seems a good fit for open air activity and a livelier evening your unlikely to find in Dubai. We challenge you not to be tapping your toes and shaking your booty within the first five minutes and all the way through until the end of the night.
Dubai Drums sessions take place at Ductac, Mall of the Emirates every Monday at 7.30pm. www.dubaidrums.com (056 744 2129). For more information about African drumming in Dubai click here.
