This photo exhibition will feature the snaps of masters including Sebastiao Salgado, Robert Capa and Henry Cartier Bresson as well as contemporary artists such as Amr Fekry. It will also feature the famous portrait of Picasso and Francoise Gillot.

Magical Nights: Exhibition of Auction Highlights
Donated works by 41 emerging Iranian artists involved with London organisation Magic of Persia will be on display at Salsali Private Museum to give interested buyers an opportunity to view the works before bidding online. Artworks will then be auctioned on Wednesday March 21.

Microcosms with the Macrocosm, Elements of a Bigger Picture
South African landscape artist Lynette Ten Krooden presents a body of work depicting animals and nature on large canvases.

Stylish Strokes
A one-of a-kind fashion and art-themed event in collaboration with The JamJar Dubai. The musical evening celebrates the freedom of expression in Banana Republic’s ‘Work Different’ philosophy, showcasing photography by Mansoor Bhatti, live art by Gabrielle Tan and more from Jennifer Simon and Mona Fares as they share their spin on ‘Classics With A Twist’. Off the Wall
A selection of international and regional painters will be working live in the Majlis Gallery for 10 days, after which their works will be hung in the gallery.

Sikka Art Fair
This Bastakiya fair will focus on Emirati and local art. The event will also play host to music performances, food demonstrations, educational activities and an opportunity to watch local artists in residences. Flea-Ing Me
This 45-metre banner project by artist Lara Baladi will adorn the façade of The Pavilion in Downtown Dubai. The banner acts as a visual timeline of the artist’s career.

Nuqat design conference
This six-day design-focused seminar will include lectures by guest speakers at The Atrium in DIFC, plus workshops covering design areas including jewellery-making and graphic design at Tashkeel.

Yousef Ahmad
The acclaimed Qatari artist presents a solo exhibition of mixed media works that are inspired by the landscape of the desert and incorporate Arabic calligraphy.

Design Days Dubai
This vintage furniture fair will showcase rare and limited edition high-end collectibles by 22 regional and international design galleries, including the newly opened Al Quoz venue La Galerie Nationale, at a specially-created hub underneath the Burj Khalifa. I Came, I Saw, I Captured
Dubai-based Palestinian artist Hummi Shaheen presents a series of photographs, which tell the story of her travels.

Lebanese Rocket Society
Lebanese artists Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige will showcase three new bodies of work that relate to an archive of images and history in the region, with a focus on the period during the ’60s.

Nothing Beats the Blunderbuss
Showcase Gallery will reopen in Alserkal Avenue with an exhibition by UK street artist Amartey Golding. His charcoal sketchings will showcase his expertise with photo montage.

In this group exhibition, six up-and-coming female Emirati artists have created artworks inspired by the abaya, reflecting on their own interpretation of the traditional Emirati garment.

The Throne

The Samawi Collection II
This must-see exhibition will feature over 60 contemporary Middle Eastern works as well as three installations from the private collections of Khaled and Hisham Samawi.

Truth of the Matter
Lahore-based artists Ehsan ul Haq and Iqra Tanveer will have the duty of opening this brand new gallery with an exhibition featuring sculptural-style installations. Each of the artist’s deal with the perception of time and existence.
