ArtBus 2014

Moving art canvas to tour the city during Dubai Art Week

ArtintheCity’s ArtBus returns in partnership with the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority for its eighth consecutive year. The ArtBus offers a diverse view of Dubai’s art and culture scene, and with three routes each taking in a distinct art area in Dubai, there’s something to suit everyone. During Art Week, visitors will also be able to enjoy featured work from Emirati visual artist Afra Bin Dhaher, Filipino graphic designer and illustrator Mark Ganzon, and Egyptian junior art director Hala Makhlouf. These three artists have created projects under the theme Connecting Minds, Creating the Future, to align with Dubai’s 2020 Expo Bid. The finished work will be wrapped onto the ArtBus for all to see from March 20-22, transforming the bus into a moving art canvas during the busiest time in the city’s art calendar.
