Dubai Opera launches Mother's Day two-for-one tickets offer

It's valid for Steps and two orchestra concerts

It’s UAE Mother’s Day today, and if you still haven’t got a present for the most important woman in your life then why not give the gift of music?

Dubai Opera has launched a two-for-one special offer on tickets for top events in April, meaning you won’t have to break the bank to have a good time.

The deal is valid for the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra on Wednesday April 4, the European Union Youth Orchestra on Thursday April 12 and Friday April 13, as well as Steps on Friday April 27.

So whether your mum is a fan of classical or just looking for a bit of ‘90s nostalgia, this is the perfect chance to grab a last-minute gift.

All you need to do is log on to, add two tickets to your basket and enter the promo code MDONUS18. Tickets are limited though, so you’ll need to be quick.

Steps will be playing for one night only – with all five singers from the original line-up there.

Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, Clare Richards, Lee Latchford-Evans and Ian ‘H’ Watkins will be bringing back some of the catchiest, funkiest pop tunes of the late ’90s and early 2000s during an evening of pure nostalgia.

Meanwhile, having performed to sell-out audiences in 43 countries, 177 cities and 224 venues, the European Union Youth Orchestra is coming to Dubai.

From Amsterdam to New York, Moscow to Mumbai, Seoul to Sao Paolo and beyond, the European Union Youth Orchestra’s symphony sounds have been heard at many of the world’s greatest concert halls.

Also on offer is the world-famous Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra which is making its GCC debut on Wednesday April 4.

Classical music fans can look forward to an evening of some of the best music scores of all time written by Mozart, Saint-Saëns and Schubert under the baton of acclaimed conductor Gábor Takács-Nagy.

Get your tickets now before they sell out.

2-for-1 offer runs on Wednesday March 21. Use code MDONUS18. Dubai Opera, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, Downtown Dubai.
