Immersive Ramadan exhibition opens in The Dubai Mall

An astronomy experience, light and mirror illusions and unique art

Immersive Ramadan exhibition opens in The Dubai Mall

There’s a massive new immersive art installation open at The Dubai Mall to take you on a journey into the past this Ramadan.

9HIJRI: the tale of Zayed and Ramadan told in unison is spread across nine zones featuring interactive displays and stunning displays of Islamic culture, religion and heritage.

As you wander through the zones you can immerse yourself in visual exhibitions, libraries of books, art exhibitions, science workshops created in partnership with Mad Science and Dubai Astronomy and a load more.

The community zone allows you to star in an interactive greetings wall, while the self-reflection zone features a unique mirror and light installation.

The enlightenment section allows you to explore Ramadan’s lunar cycle through an immersive astronomy experience, while the wellbeing zone is hosting evening workshops to promote a happy and healthy workshop.

There is also an art exhibition about faith, a community art installation about togetherness and arts and crafts in the family section as well as a giving section where you can get involved in a charity exhibition.

The final section is the heritage zone where you can take a 360 journey through the life and times of Shaikh Zayed.
