Winter-themed festival returns at Dubai Ladies Club

DubaiICE is back with an igloo spa and a list of snow-themed activities

1/5

Is that an igloo we spot at Dubai Ladies Club on Jumeirah Beach ? While it’s not something we would normally see in Dubai, it’s most definitely a welcome sight in this sizzling summer.

DubaiICE has returned for its second edition, bringing with it a variety winter-themed entertainment, relaxation and health activities under one, temperature-controlled roof. Or whatever an igloo has.

Taking place every Friday and Saturday until Saturday September 1, ladies and kids can spend the weekend chilling in the purpose-built ice dome.

The event includes an igloo spa, provided by Dubai Ladies Club’s Al Asalla Spa, along with a floating barge which has its very own tanning corner and a juice bar.

As for the little ones, they can expect a list of snow-based fun, including snowman building, greetings from the characters of Frozen and other cartoon characters, and time to take pictures with them at the Frozen photo booth.

DubaiICE will be open from 3pm until 7pm each weekend, and is priced at Dhs260 for women and Dhs80 for kids below 13 years old.

Since it takes place at Dubai Ladies Club, this is a ladies and children only event. Tough luck, chaps.

All isn’t lost though gents, as there are plenty of other places for everyone to escape the summer heat, namely all the best swim up bars and pool packages Dubai has to offer.

As for the lucky ladies, your Fridays and Saturdays are sorted.
