Dubai Garden Glow shines bright again

Attraction reopens with Glowing Safari theme, Ice Park and Art Park

Zip down Sheikh Zayed Road after hours and you’ll discover a park that is home to all things bright and beautiful – as Dubai Garden Glow has reopened.

Returning for the fourth year, the huge attraction promises to be bigger and shinier than ever.

Designers have introduced three new themes to the park: the Glowing Safari brings dozens of new animal sculptures, the Ice Park boasts creations made from more than 5,000 tons of (you guessed it) ice and there is a brand-new Art Park, which is made from used bottles, plates and CDs.

The new addition has been specifically created to draw attention to global sustainability and recycling and adds to Dubai’s booming tourism sector.

Dubai Municipality are hoping to draw in more than 500,000 visitors this season, which will run for six months until April.

Launched in the 2015, the Dubai Garden Glow in Zabeel Park changes its main theme every year.

It kicked off taking inspiration from the Wonders of the World, returned for the second year by paying tribute to nature and last year it celebrated the underwater world.

The park reopened on Sunday, October 7 in a ceremony hosted by Mohammed Mubarak Al Mutaiwei, CEO of Dubai Municipality for Business Development Sector.

So, what are you waiting for? Go and prepare to be dazzled.
