Love horses? There’s neigh chance you will want to miss this.

The Meydan Hotel is offering stable tours around Meydan Racecourse, and you’ll be able to get us close and personal with a couple of racehorses.

You’ll be shown around the stables and watch the horses have their morning bath, before taking a dip in their own private swimming pool. Alright for some...

The tours kick off today (Tuesday October 19) and will run every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am until Wednesday March 20

The day starts with free breakfast at Farriers, before a shuttle bus at 8am sharp will run you down to the stables where you can watch the horses training in the aforementioned pool and on dry land.

From there it’s onto the Grandstand, where you can have a nosey through the jockey’s gear, marvelling at their equipment and tiny outfits.

The trip ends with a gathering in Qube Sports Bar, where there are 21 screens for you to enjoy a load of sporting action, or just sink a cold one after the day’s excitement.

The tour, which is guided, costs Dhs325 for adults and Dhs235 for kids, and is a great way for racing fans to see what goes on behind the scenes.

We are positively hot to trot.
Dhs325 (adults), Dhs235 (kids), free (kids under four). Until March 20, 2019. The Meydan Hotel, Nad al Sheba (04 381 3405).
