Got a sweet tooth? You’ll need one for this.

Riverland Dubai, the shopping and dining destination that leads to all four of Dubai Parks And Resorts’ theme and waterparks, is set to give away a cavity-inducing 50,000 sweets this Halloween, when it hosts an enormous trick-or-treat session for those visiting between Tuesday October 30 and Saturday November 3.

And that’s not all, as those in fancy dress will have the chance to win bigger prizes.

Categories including best-dressed family, best-dressed child and best-dressed adult, with giveaways set to including a one-night’s stay at Lapita Hotel, four park tickets and dinner for four at Al Mashowa, for those categories respectively.

But where are all those free sweets? According to the organisers, every restaurant in Riverland Dubai will be giving out the candy.

As ever, there will also be a social media competition running throughout the evening, so visitors are encouraged to post pictures of themselves at the event in their spookiest getup, in order to be in with a chance to win a mystery prize.

Across the city, there is no shortage of Halloween events taking place over the next couple of weeks, including Time Out Dubai’s Big Fat Haunted Halloween Quiz, which will be held at Café Artois on Wednesday October 31. Up for grabs on the night is a range of prizes including brunch vouchers, spa vouchers, Al Murray tickets, exercise classes and a whopping Dhs3,000 in cash for the winning team. There are also set to be spot prizes for the best costumes.
