Being stuck inside an inflatable bubble ball while rolling down a hill – you don’t get to do that every day. That is, unless you try Hatta’s brand-new zorbing track.
Go Gravity has recently opened a 200 metre-long outdoor course, the first ever in the Middle East, and it offers one of the cheapest prices to do it in the world.
Open daily from 9pm until 6.30pm, it costs Dhs50 for a single ride, while two rides will cost you Dhs85. That’s a bargain.
Not familiar with zorbing? It basically places thrill seekers inside a huge orb, which then rolls down a slope to build up speed and – most importantly – fun.
That’s not all, as those who fancy a bit of sport in the bubble can take on zorbing football, where teams from two to ten people can kick a ball around, priced at Dhs35 per person.
For more info or to book yourself a spot in the huge ball, head to Go Gravity’s Instagram page @gogravity.ae or call 050 760 0278.
Hatta offers plenty of adventure activities, including mountain bike rides, kayaking along the dam, axe-throwing, freefall jumping off cliffs and twin zip-lining.
Hatta is one of the top places in the UAE to go glamping, with its swanky trailer-styled hotels and lodges featuring barbecue facilities, a communal fire pit and much more.
Looking for other strange sports to try out? There are plenty of them to experience in Dubai, so be sure to check out our guide to some of the quirkiest.
Speaking of out-of-the-norm things to do, you can now skate on the highest mountain in the UAE thanks to Jebel Jais Viewing Deck Park’s skating rink.
The guys at Time Out Dubai did their own zorbing football at Flip Out Dubai. They probably won’t become pros anytime soon though...
Get ready to roll into the weekend (literally).
Dhs55 (single ride), Dhs85 (two rides), Dhs35 per person (zorbing football). Open daily 9am-6.30pm. Hatta, Dubai (050 760 0278).
