This Halloween, freaky things are lurking below decks of the QE2 cruise ship, and after decades of being closed off, it’s now open for all of Dubai to see. We here at Time Out Dubai thought we were brave enough to see what went down, but as you can see, we were gravely mistaken…

Halloween thrill-fest ‘Project Rising Star’ has now launched on the QE2, a haunted tour of the ship that delivers all the frights you’re after this Halloween.

Taking place from Thursday October 17 until Saturday November 2, the experience has three levels to choose from, with ‘Level 1’ priced at Dhs55 for families and the faint-of-heart, and ‘Level 2’ for those who don’t mind losing a little shut-eye, priced at Dhs75.

As for ‘Level 3’? This is the tour where the ‘line between historical fact and fiction is blurred’, and we can most definitely vouch for that. In fact, you’ll have to sign a disclaimer form to participate. For Dhs95, it’s freaky stuff.

Up for getting as spooked as we are? Head over to www.qe2.com or call 04 526 8888 for more information or to book yourself a place for Project Rising Star.

All we can say is, expect the unexpected…
From Dhs55. Until Nov 2. QE2, Port Rashid, www.qe2.com (04 526 8888).
