Aventura Park

Unleash your inner Tarzan in this sprawling outdoor climbing centre

Time Out Says

Set amid Mushrif Park’s natural ghaf tree forest, this 35,000 sq m adventure playground offers intrepid visitors around 80 activities, including rope walks, log balancing, ladders and zip lines, the largest of which is a toe-tingling 160m long and 10m high. The whole space is split into six circuits, designed to accommodate any level of Indiana Jones, Spider-Man or Tarzan wannabe.

The Discovery and Rangers circuits are designed for children, while the Explorador circuit is an easy family bonding zone and Aventura is suitable for teenagers and adults. There are also the much more difficult Thriller and Xtreme courses if you’re confident enough to take them on.
It’s best to pay for the gloves that are offered, or risk some nasty rope burns. You’ll constantly be clipping in and out of climbing ropes and taking on a bunch of obstacles, so to keep you nice and safe, you’ll get a full safety briefing, too.

Whether you’re just starting out, have never tried anything like it before, or are an experienced climber, there’s something for you here.
From Dhs141 (including gloves).
