Trendy bar and restaurant Seven Sisters in Business Bay will be re-launching this Thursday (August 30) after a summer break.

And it brings with it a new weekly entertainment line-up. We can’t wait.

The Beirut-born terrace bar opened earlier this year at JW Marriott Marquis Business Bay. The chic spot offers up views of the Dubai Water Canal, which are perfect as a backdrop to its signature dishes. Food includes sea bass ceviche, tuna tartare with miso, short rib yakitori and black cod with gnocchi.

The new schedule features live music as well as sets from prominent local DJs. The cool bar will open with a live set from resident DJ Patch, spinning a mix of deep house, tech house and disco.

And on Friday August 31 Fusion Fridays launches at the bar. The night will run weekly from 8pm until 11pm with tunes coming from DJ Yussef Kanaan. From 11pm onwards commercial music will be played.

“The event provides an exciting opportunity to showcase the best regional nightlife and introduce it to Dubai’s cosmopolitan community,” says the team behind it.

Meanwhile on Tuesdays there will be live music, with singer and songwriter DD Foxx and her band performing each week from Tuesday September 4. Combining pop, RNB, rap and funk with a Middle Eastern twist, the Lebanese star will be entertaining the crowd weekly from 9pm.

The venue has also undergone a revamp over the summer, and now has a retractable glass pergola, to ensure you can party in the cool air-conditioning while it’s still hot outside.

The hotel is also home to 1 OAK, which opened earlier this year too, as well as sports bar Bridgewater Tavern and Vault, as well as Hotel Cartagena and Weslodge Saloon.

We can't wait to check it out.

Open Daily 6pm-3am. JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, Business Bay (056 775 4777).
