Full orchestra Frank Sinatra tribute concert coming to Dubai

The 17-piece NSO big band will be performing all his biggest hits

We all love a bit of Frank Sinatra, and now the ultimate tribute to the great man himself is coming to Dubai.

On Saturday October 6, the 17-piece NSO big band will be performing all his biggest hits – from New York, New York to Fly Me to the Moon.

Ticket holders can look forward to hearing sing-along tunes The Lady Is A Tramp and The Best Is Yet To Come, as well as romantic ballads My Funny Valentine and I’ve Got You Under My Skin, performed live in the beautiful auditorium at Emirates Palace.

Janet Hassouneh, NSO founder & executive director, said: “We are so pleased to present the NSO Big Band and showcase our virtuoso brass section.

“I’m sure our regular NSO audience will enjoy the first concerts of our new season, where the international guest musicians and vocalists will give an added cachet to an exciting evening of wonderful jazz and swing standards.”

The event will feature several guest musicians and vocalists.

Trumpet player Ryan Quigley has toured with huge acts such as Aretha Franklin, while trombonist Trevor Mires currently works with the famed Welsh singer Sir Tom Jones.
