Nick Jonas headline spot put back as logistical problems halt Halloween bash

Fiesta de los Muertos has been postponed

The wait goes on for Disney brother-turned solo singer Nick Jonas to come to Dubai, as the Fiesta de los Muertos festival on Friday October 26 has been suspended.

Organisers have promised a refund to all fans who had snapped up tickets to see the Jealous hit-maker headline.

The postponement follows the disappointment of last year, when Jonas pulled out of the same festival at the last minute due to scheduling issues.
He was due to be joined by R&B star Miguel at the event on Friday, October 26 this year.

Bosses at 117Live haven’t ruled out the possibility of a return for the gig this year, writing on Instagram, “Due to unfortunate logistical issues, we have decided to postpone this year’s event until a later date.

“Fans who have already purchased their tickets will be fully reimbursed and the money will be reflected back in their accounts or on their cards within five to 21 days.

“As a sign of our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the fans’ understanding, everyone who purchased tickets will receive a discount coupon for the next 117Live show, which will be shared through email from 117Live.

“We would like to wholeheartedly apologise to anyone affected and inconvenienced by this and assure everyone that a new date will be announced soon.”

After starting off in youth theatre Jonas rose to fame in boyband The Jonas Brothers alongside with two of his siblings – the trio achieved huge success working with Disney.

He later launched a career as a solo artist, and last year he also worked with Nicki Minaj on Bom Bidi Bom, the soundtrack to movie sequel 50 Shades Darker.
Ticketholders should send enquiries to tickets@117live.com.
