Soho Beach

A swanky, trendy beach/pool club

Soho Beach

There’s no beach at Soho Beach. But we’re not going to hold it against the club any time soon, mainly because it’s awesome – thoroughly, entirely, misleading-name-excusingly so.

The reason for our enjoyment of this beach club is manifold, and we shall explain.

Joining the ranks of the city’s many premium beach clubs, Soho Beach gradually crept its way on to the Dubai scene throughout 2018. Open only on Tuesdays and Fridays, you won’t really be able to spontaneously head along for some poolside larks, but plan ahead, and you shall be rewarded.

And we’re pleasantly surprised that we arrive at Soho Beach (located next door to the Garden with the same prefix) to what can only be described as the warmest of welcomes. Charming door staff can be something of a rarity around town, but we’re met with a smile, a few jokes and general friendliness and helpfulness.

The club itself is gorgeous – a stunning central (if not freezing) pool with island beds, plunge pools, a swim-up bar and submersed loungers steals the eye immediately, but it’s lined by tonnes of single, double and enormous beds full of partygoers hanging out for the day. Flanking the pool are Jacuzzi-esque plunge pools accompanying raised private areas, but (unless specifically reserved already) you don’t have to spend an extra fils to enjoy the premiumness of it all.

What’s more refreshing is that this place isn’t filled to the lugholes with pretension, which can plague many an otherwise cool spot. There’s a bucket load of friendliness and happiness at this place, and we love it.

Everyone at Soho Beach is so relaxed, service is as friendly as it is rapid, the bar food is decent, and the city’s best DJs reside here on a weekly basis.

And, the best part is that the Friday brunch comes in at a very reasonable Dhs300 yard mark.

We adore this place. And we reckon you will too. Go.
