Huge new bar launches in Dubai with all-day happy hour

A brand-new bar has arrived in Dubai, and it looks like it could well be one of the coolest new bars to hit the block for a while.

BFF Gastro Bar & Lounge, found at the Jebel Ali Village, is promising a lively spot for sports, games, live music and some top grub, is now open, and there’s a lot going on.

On the face of things, the 15,000 sq ft venue (which is a fair bit bigger than the original Lock, Stock & Barrel in Barsha Heights, btw), has pretty much everything you could want from a bar.

For starters, the dedicated street-level entrance takes you in towards one segment of the bar with pool tables, foosball and an open kitchen area.

This narrow part of the venue leads you towards the main bar, which expands out to the huge central area, which houses the main stage.

Said stage will be home to live entertainment and music daily, with bands, solo artists and more set to perform. There are plenty of screens to catch the live sport on throughout the week, with low-slung sofa areas also available if you just want to kick back.

In addition, there’s an outdoor terrace for some al fresco vibes, but we’re most excited about the month-long introductory happy hour, which will run daily from 3pm until 3am throughout March. There’s also a ladies’ night offering five free drinks plus bites from 8pm onwards.

How about that for a welcome?

The whole place is designed to feel a bit like your neighbourhood local, so go check this place out pronto. We’ll be the ones on the pool table.
Open daily 3pm-3am. Jebel Ali Village, Jebel Ali (052 177 7541).
