Summer is inbound, which means it’s time to say goodbye to some of our favourite outdoor activities, but not before one final blowout at this popular chill-out party.
Alternative music festival Kaynouna is back for a very special season closing party, which is also a celebration of the event’s two-year anniversary.
Taking place on Friday April 5 from 4pm until 3am, “The Spiral Festival” aims to guide partygoers to another dimension – with chilled electronic beats from six different DJs.
Expect headliner act Goldcap to be spinning the decks with his tunes interpreting everything from classic rock, traditional Indian music and orchestra, to reggae, classical, metal, West African, and Middle Eastern styles of music.
Here’s a taste of what you’re in for:
Kaynouna will also be featuring international and local artists, including Oceanvs Orientalis, Kerala Dust, Birol Giray BeeGee, Can Tanca and Nawar.
The Spiral Festival is inspired by all past Kaynouna festivals, so definitely expect a few special surprises throughout the night. Oh, and hammocks.
For those not in the know, Kaynouna is a free-spirited alternative music festival with relaxation areas that have hammocks and cushions as well as mini chakra healing stations scattered throughout.
Tickets are available from Dhs195, which you can get right here. It’s Dhs230 at the door, so you may as well get them now.
Kaynouna is set up at The Secret Garden at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, next door to Irish Village.
For other feel-good vibes, RTA is celebrating Happiness Week with free activities, including a bus ride to Wadi Hub in Hatta and much more.
Bring on those chilled vibes one last time before summer kicks in.
