BASE announces rapper Tyga among birthday weekend parties

It feels like just yesterday that d3 superclub BASE was being talked about as a new club to look out for, before its April 2017 opening.

But how time has flown. Now here we are, two years later celebrating its second birthday – and we’re sure it won’t suffer from a case of the terrible twos.

Since opening, the club has played host to some of the biggest names in the business, including 50 Cent, David Guetta, Axwell from Swedish House Mafia, Rita Ora, Jennifer Lopez and more. Now, as the club approaches its second birthday, the stars are back in town for a big set of nights building up to the close of the winter season.

Top of the bill hitting the club on Friday (April 26) is international rap star Tyga, back for his third appearance at the club. It’s free for the first 100 ladies to enter on the night, and Dhs100 thereafter – for gents its Dhs150 entry all night.

The night before, American rap star Sheck Was, the man behind 2017’s viral hit Mo Bamba, is hitting the stage for his Dubai debut on Thursday April 25. Entry is free for ladies and Dhs150 for gents all night.

Then on Saturday it’s the return of the Candypants Crazy Land party night, where it’s free entry all night, a ladies’ night deal on drinks and a free drink on arrival if you’re wearing fancy dress.

It’s going to be a big weekend, don’t miss it.
Prices vary. Apr 25-27. d3, Ras Al Khor Road (055 313 4999).
