Three new venues coming to Dubai’s Soho Garden

This brings the total to seven venues in the Meydan megacomplex

Three new venues coming to Dubai’s Soho Garden

Just when you thought Soho Garden was settling down after a full-on 18 months in Dubai, the already massive complex in Meydan has announced that three new venues will be arriving in the very near future.

Taking the tally of clubs, bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood to seven, the three new venues will be arriving before summer – each offering something different to what’s already on offer.

Already home to one of the three best bars in Dubai (Soho Garden was a Highly Commended winner at the Time Out Dubai Music & Nightlife Awards 2019), the complex will be welcoming a new restaurant, a lounge bar and a nightclub to accompany Soho Garden, Drai’s Dubai, Soho Beach and Toy Room.

First on the list is Glasshouse, a restaurant and bar inspired by the stylings of London Soho (obviously). Open Wednesday to Friday from 7pm until 3am, there’s going to be a range of mixed drinks and dishes to enjoy from a European-based à la carte menu, as well as some funky tunes.

Next up is Tokyo Vibes, where you can (perhaps unsurprisingly) grab a bunch of different fresh sushi and Japanese-themed mixed drinks. As the night goes on, the beats will turn up and after the restaurant closes at 12.30am, the bar will play a range of deep and commercial house until 3am. With Far Eastern-inspired murals adorning the walls, this bar promises to offer something completely different to the already heaving area.

Finally, Code Club is going to be open every Friday opposite Toy Room. Located inside the Paddock at Meydan, this one is targeting the late-night Ibiza party-lovers. Based on the classic White Island club DC10, this one is for the big clubbers out there – and it’s making big promises, saying the club will feature “some of the best headline DJs the region has ever seen”. Ever.

Bring it on. Soho Garden is already the city’s biggest standalone party destinations, and it’s only getting bigger.
