McGettigan’s Madinat Jumeirah launches "Drinks Exchange"

Prices for beverages will fluctuate based on demand

McGettigan’s Madinat Jumeirah launches

McGettigan’s in Souk Madinat Jumeirah is now hosting a weekly “Drinks Exchange”.

Like the stock market, the prices will go up and down based purely on demand so you could potentially bag yourself a bargain (if your drink of choice isn’t in favour with the other punters).

For example, if a pint costs Dhs50, based on how popular it is and how many pints are being bought, it either rises, or falls, accordingly.

The more popular a drink is, the more expensive it will become, and the less popular, the cheaper it becomes.

“Trading” will commence every Wednesday at 6pm and will go on until 2am.

Popular beach bar Barasti also recently launched a drinks exchange concept which also takes place on a Wednesday.
