Paint with grape at this creative workshop in Dubai

Do you have a blank wall that’s just screaming for a bit of colour? Well cancel that trip to IKEA and get ready to create your very own masterpiece in just one afternoon.

Paint & Grape is a creative workshop that plays homage to some of the world’s most famous artists and the next workshop, which is headed up by We Love Art, is taking place on Saturday September 14 from 2.30pm until 5.30pm at Couqley French Bistro in JLT and the theme will be Frida Kahlo.

Kahlo was known for her colourful and elaborate self-portraits, and what better way to celebrate one of Mexico's greatest artists than by recreating one of her iconic pieces.

With a paint brush in one hand, a glass of grape in the other, and some jazzy French tunes playing along in the background, it’s guaranteed to be a fun night for all, and there will be experts on hand to help guide aspiring painters of all levels through their canvas.

Become an artist in one night for Dhs390 which includes a three-hour class, all painting materials, a pre-sketched canvas and two glasses of grape or four soft drinks. Advance bookings are advised as spaces are limited.

There’s another similar class taking place this weekend that budding Picassos are going to want to try out – find out more here.

We’ve also rounded up 14 more brilliant things to do this weekend in Dubai here.
