Dubai's Zero Gravity to screen A Star is Born

Looking for some different things to do in Dubai this weekend?

Zero Gravity’s popular Cinema on the Sand is back for a second season on Dubai's shores and it’s kicking off with A Star is Born on Sunday October 13.

The musical romantic drama film stars Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga and made waves (sorry, not sorry) after it premiered at the 75th Venice International Film Festival in 2018.

It’s Dhs50 a ticket but the full amount is redeemable on food and drinks, so it’s basically free.

Items on the special cinema-themed food menu include nachos, chilli-cheese fries, chicken wings, chicken shawarma, a beef burger, hot dogs and of course, popcorn.

The screening is for those aged 21 and over and no reservations are required but the film starts at 8pm so head down early and grab yourself a beanbag, sun lounger or “director's chair” on the sand. There will also be blankets on hand (wishful thinking) in case the sea breeze gets a bit too chilly.
