Massive dance festival Kaynouna returns for Season 3

It’s one of the best festivals in Dubai, and free-spirited music and cultural festival Kaynouna is back for another dose at the start of November.

Marking its return for the start of the winter season in Dubai, Kaynouna has confirmed that its theme for its third season (since launching back in 2017) will be about tolerance, acceptance and embracement for everyone. Kaynouna, Arms Wide Open, will be kicking off at The Secret Garden at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Garhoud on Friday November 1.

A day-to-night festival, the event is promising a range of live DJs and music performances, as well as The Art Hub, described as being “a place where artists and art aspirers showcase their crafts to the world”.

In addition, the festival’s quintessential wellness and happiness themes will continue, with healing centres, a range of activities, local vendors and more joining the stage performances.

Here’s what we said about the event when it won a highly commended award for the Best Festival category at the Time Out Dubai Music & Nightlife Awards 2019:

“A free-spirited festival that’s soared to new heights over the past year. With international DJs performing on a regular basis, this festival is as much about the extra activities as it is the music," says the team. "Try yoga, watch fire jugglers or make a dream catcher.”

Tickets start at Dhs195 for entry, with the festival running from 1pm through until 3am, and you can get them here. Families and pets can come until 7pm, and more information on the line-up of acts playing throughout the day will be revealed soon.
