Dubai’s seventyseventy bar launches new vinyl night

Looking for a grown-up evening of modern beats in a retro setting here in Dubai?

Park Hyatt Dubai’s- ’70s-themed lounge bar seventyseventy has launched a new night AKA Vinyl Sessions.

Every Thursday and Friday, talented electronic musician, DJ and curator Tarik Omar will be hitting the decks for what promises to be an evening packed full of soulful tunes and he’ll be using his personal vinyl record collection to create specially curated sets.

Playing funk, afro beat, house, Latin, jazz, and even techno, Tarik Omar is known for his ability to use his classical upbringing – having played the violin, piano, trumpet, and guitar when he was younger – to create and merge electronic music, resulting in stellar tunes.

So whether you’re a fan of jazz, a soul enthusiast or simply a vinyl records collector – this is a night not to be missed and make sure to get down early for the happy hour from 5pm until 8pm with buy one, get one free on short measures, grape and select bottled hops.
