UK singer-songwriter Dido cancels Dubai concert

Dido, the UK singer-songwriter best known for tracks White Flag, Thank You and Sand In My Shoes, has cancelled her concert in Dubai, scheduled to take place tonight, on Friday December 13.

Having relocated from Dubai Media City Amphitheatre earlier in the week, Dido was set to perform at the Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk, which since opening has seen the likes of Maroon 5, The 1975 and Westlife perform.

“Due to illness, Dido Live in Concert at Coca-Cola Arena scheduled on Friday December 13 is cancelled,” a statement from her team read. “Dido apologises to her Dubai fans. The promoters of this show would like to apologise to all fans that this show will not go ahead.”

All ticket holders will have the cost of their ticket refunded through the original point of sale for their ticket purchase.
