There’s a new Caribbean joint opening on Palm Jumeirah this weekend, and we can’t wait to check it out.
Palm Bay is throwing opening its doors tomorrow (Thursday September 17) at Club Vista Mare, promising a “fresh, funk concept offering a taste of the Caribbean and a vibrant sunshine vibe”.
Furniture is brightly coloured and split into sections – representing Kingston, Havana, Bridge Town, Port of Spain and Santa Domingo.
There’s also a terrace with a garden area overlooking the seas.
Expect Caribbean sharing dishes, from chef Gregory, who was born and raised in Saint Vincent, who’ll be serving up cooking inspired by his grandmother.
There’s also set to be a load of deals, including ladies’ night on a Tuesday where you’ll get three free drinks from 7pm until midnight, plus 50 percent off food.
On Thursdays there’s unlimited wings for Dhs99, while there’s also brunch on Friday, starting from Dhs275 for ladies and Dhs325 for gents. Finally there’s the Palm Island roast every Saturday from noon until 10pm with a choice of beef, chicken, fish or veggie with unlimited sides and two house beverages for Dhs150.
We'll see you there.
Open daily noon-late. Club Vista Mare, Palm Jumeirah, www.palmbaydubai.com (04 554 2665).
