Bistrot Bagatelle

Lively French restaurant that’s the best in town for a late night soirée

If you arrive at Bistrot Bagatelle before 10pm you may well wonder what all the fuss is about.

“But we were promised dancing, loud music, hordes of people?”, we hear you question. And you’d be right. The thing is at 8pm Bistrot Bagatelle could just be a swish French restaurant.

And if you’re looking for a relaxed dinner than that’s fine. However, if you’re here for the legendary Bagatelle vibe – come back later.

Once the evening is in full swing the place ramps up. The lights go down, the music goes up and the energy in the room goes off the scale.

From live music events to DJs, there are theme nights throughout the week. Because who doesn’t like some funky beats to accompany their escagots?

The décor is simple and cool with chic blues, whites and greys, plus splashes of colour thanks to all the cool and vibrant pop art on the walls.

Take a seat at one of the comfy booths and order up a feast (we recommend the josper-grilled lobster with linguine, it has a fiery kick) and get ready to unwind. You’ll need to steel your wallet ahead of time – a night here doesn’t come cheap – but for dinner and a party there’s nowhere better in the city.
