Revamped nightclub that’s still just a little bit too quiet
  • 2

Time Out Says

PERMANENTLY CLOSED

The nightclub at the JW Marriott Marquis in Business Bay recently underwent a revamp. But those familiar with the small space may struggle to see much of a difference.

Cool graffiti still adorns the walls and those big, bright white sofas still sit in front of the DJ box. There are still comfy booths in little nooks down the side of the venue and remains a small dark space that doesn’t get busy until gone midnight.

If you come here for a drink soon after the club opens, it will most likely be a quiet one. But there’s always something a little unnerving about a quiet drink in a nightclub, so you might want to explore other options.

But come here for the party post-twelve and you night will begin to look up.

A resident DJ keeps the crowd moving and as the hours get smaller, so does the space on the dancefloor.

Thursdays are when the club really comes into its own, helped by a generous ladies’ night offering unlimited selected free beverages to women from 10pm to 1am, plus a platter of Peruvian bites for Dhs99, making a end of week visit well worth it.

There are livelier clubbing experiences in town, but for a decent Thursday night out, you could try Square.

The bottom line
Only walk in once the clock strikes 12.
