Alta Badia Bar
Time Out Says
The bar sits a level above the restaurant on the 51st floor and feels super-slick and sophisticated. During the day, natural light floods in from the sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows, and at night, when the city lights up, those views become all the more impressive.
The space feels quite regal, with deep purples, blacks and dark woods making up the colour scheme – it’s the kind of place you want to be seen wearing your finest attire in.
Alta Badia is a bar that easily impresses, and it has high prices to match – short measures cost from Dhs50-70 here. Ladies are in luck, though, since every Thursday from 6pm to 8pm, it’s free pink grape for women as part of the bar’s ladies’ night.
Staff aren’t always right on hand for questions – they pace between the two spaces – but are helpful and full of suggestions and recommendations when you catch their attention.
If gazing out to the city from more than 50 storeys up over a quiet beverage is on the cards, this is the spot to choose.
The bottom line
Stylish, sky-high bar with amazing views.
