Time Out Says
Hidden away at the back of Ibis Al Barsha is where you’ll find the cool electronic music night-turned-underground nightclub.
Forget big flashing lights and velvet ropes – with no apparent signage and just a door as the entrance you’d be forgiven for walking past completely oblivious to the party happening behind the elusive door.
It’s all quite cool and to quote The Notorious B.I.G “if you don’t know, now you know”.
It’s Dhs100 to enter with the price getting you a free house drink and there’s a definite “come as you are” vibe so forget about being turned away for not donning your trendiest or most formal attire.
The club is compact and with stripped-back décor, dark walls, moody red lighting, a minimalistic feel to it and the DJ booth being the focal point it’s clear to see that the venue has been designed with the music in mind.
And it’s also clear to see that’s why the crowd is there – for the music.
It’s a late-night spot and starts picking up after midnight with the party going on until way into the early hours and the music is raw and authentic.
There’s a line-up of regular DJs but the venue also brings over international talent as part of its party series – one of which sees the underground club inviting key local artists and promoters from cities around the world to perform in Dubai.
From the speakeasy-esque entrance to the dark and minimalist aesthetic, it’s all very mysterious. There’s no denying that Analog Room has made its mark on the nightlife scene here in Dubai and we can’t wait to see what else is yet to come with the new opening.
