Time Out Says
Azure Beach, which opened this summer at the new Rixos Premium Dubai, JBR, happily provides all of these things in abundance.
The bar itself is set on the left of the pool, as you look towards the beach, with the beach club area boasting giant comfy sunloungers and a huge swimming pool for cooling off in.
As evening sets in, we lounge in the sunlit bar on comfortable sofas, sipping iced drinks relishing this relaxed experience.
The bar is stylish and sophisticated, yet laid-back, boasting Mediterranean-inspired décor, which lends a tranquil vibe.
Floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto the hotel’s infinity pool and the still waters of the ocean beyond. We time our visit to be perched, drink-in-hand, as the sun begins to set, and we recommend that you do, too.
The view out across the palm trees and beach is stunning, and the bar is quickly bathed in picture-perfect pink and orange hues.
Beverage-wise, there are plenty to choose from, including a selection of mixed drinks, grape, hops and bubbly. Peckish? You can order sushi, salads and more (we recommend the veggie spring rolls or salmon burger to stave off any hunger pangs).
As the evening rolls in, the bar becomes livelier. The day-to-night transition is seamless and the vibe stays relaxed as the partygoers arrive to kick off their evenings.
It’s an ideal way to spend a chilled-out day and a livelier evening now winter’s on its way.
The bottom line
An idyllic setting, day or night.
