BOA Lounge & Club
Time Out Says
It isn’t too much hassle to get in either, as security is quick and even helpful. That’s a big plus and we applaud the efficiency.
You’ll feel the heavy beats pounding as soon as the elevator doors open, which is great when guests want to get grooving immediately. It’s darkly lit to get in the clubbing mood, and spacious enough around the bar area to stand and sip on some expertly crafted mixed drinks – even the simpler ones.
What takes us by surprise though? Not a lot of people are grooving. Don’t get us wrong, the beats are pumping and the dance floor is relatively packed, but partygoers seemed to just enjoy standing and chatting.
But while patrons aren’t shaking it on the floor, the impressive pro dancers taking centre stage certainly are.
If you’re a lady or coming with your other half you’ll get in free, but gents you’ll be set back Dhs150 for entry.
Drinks are fairly pricey, as you’d expect so the lack of cover charge in a couple is welcome.
If you’re looking for a clubbing experience that’s fun and not all about the dancing, then head to this swish Al Habtoor City venue.
