Time Out Says
Furniture is made from wood and metal, while exposed filament lights hang from the ceiling, giving the place a laid-back, hipster vibe.
Outside there’s a wrap-around terrace decked out with plush lounge sofas to sink into beneath the fairy lights of City Walk while enjoying a beverage. The pleasing menu includes cheese-laden sharing bites, too (which we wholly recommend you sample).
Most glasses of grape cost around the Dhs50 mark so the bill can easily rack up, though on ladies’ night, on Wednesdays, women get two free drinks and a cheese board, making it a more palatable option.
There’s also a daily happy hour between 6pm and 8pm when drinks start from Dhs25.
The bar is surprisingly busy for the area and there’s a great buzz about the places as groups and couples get stuck into cheese and grape.
It’s sophisticated, but not to the point of pretension, and it manages to feel cool and relaxed. Visit this decent grape bar if you’re in the area.
The bottom line
Fills a gap in the City Walk market.
