Time Out Says

This mexican cantina may be best known for its tacos, but its also fast-becoming a go-to spot for pre- and post-dinner drinks.

The super-cool taqueria opened late last year in the site that was previously occupied by post-brunch party place Ynot. The space now is virtually unrecognisable, thanks to a massive redesign incorporating booth seating, a large bar area, moody lighting and massive murals on the walls.

The vibe reflects the décor, being effortlessly cool with a healthy buzz thanks to chatter of the full tables and upbeat music.

If you love street food, you’re in luck, as the compact menu offers up a tasty range. However, you don’t need to have a full meal here to enjoy the cool venue. Head along to the bar and order up a couple of tacos – the cod versions and carne asada are excellent – or a giant bowl of tortilla chips with guac and you’ll be happy. The bar area gets really busy and staff are helpful and friendly. The bar serves up some excellent Mexican mixed drinks, and beverages aren’t massively expensive for its prime location.

With ladies’ nights,  weekly deals and a massive party brunch every Friday, there are loads of reasons to check it out, too.

If you’re looking for a fun night out, with a great vibe and top-notch Mexican dishes, this trendy taqueria should be on your must-list.
