Time Out Says
If you’re after a night of it, head to the Grand Millennium Dubai and, after a slightly rickety lift ride up, you’ll be presented with an enormous, multi-levelled bar that can get absolutely heaving if you time it right.
Fridays are all about the daytime party brunch action here, with the afterparty running long into the evening. It’s an all-out livewire of an afternoon, with group karaoke sessions piled on top of sharing platters, unlimited drinks and live entertainment.
You’ll want to book ahead to get your slot, and reserve a bit of extra time in the booth because you’ll always find that one hour (which comes free with your brunch package) is never enough.
No, you’ll want to be shrieking your through hoarse through the night, and there are plenty of drinks offers on too.
Oh, and there’s in-booth drinks service from the awesome waiting staff who are usually up for a bit of a laugh with you – it’s a nice touch.
It may not be as shiny as it once was, but for low-key, no frills fun – and a good old singalong – Lucky Voice scores.
