Time Out Says

By day, Nasimi is a beach club. By night, local and international DJs take to the stage and the sand becomes a dancefloor. This is no doubt the reason for its enduring popularity – there’s no denying its great roster of local and international DJ acts, but otherwise it’s a distinctly average venue. Everything is plain white (with a few splashes of green), flanked by shaded white bars, and most of the central space is taken up by furniture, featuring tables with a high minimum spend. It should need little else with rippling lagoon waters to one side and the towering Atlantis on the other. There’s no reason you can’t pop in for a few casual drinks – it’s a good spot for sundowners, but it feels like more of a destination, with most people making a whole day or night of it. Bar seating is scarce and if you don’t have a table when there’s an event on, things get very sardines-in-a-tin. It’s fine for a laid-back beach day, and great for catching live acts, but there’s no real reason to go out of your way.
