Think you can handle spicy stuff? Well now it’s your time to shine (literally).
Lock, Stock & Barrel has created what it’s calling “the world’s hottest flatbread”, and it’s guaranteed to have you breaking out into a sweat.
International Hot & Spicy Food Day is this Tuesday (January 16) and to celebrate, the chefs have gone town on the humble flatbread to make it into something that will absolutely blow your socks off.
If you think you can take the heat you can join the Lock Stock team on stage at 10pm this Tuesday (January 16) to put your taste buds to the test, and see who can finish the fire-bread first.
But first, let us tell you what you’d be letting yourself in for.
The flatbread will be topped with boneless spicy wings, pickled jalapeños, habanero relish, pepperoni and fresh chilli, with lashings of hot sauce and habanero ranch.
The dish is finished with a flourish of coriander and the drink of your choice to wash it down.
As well as impressing all your mates and looking hard as nails, there’s another incentive for taking on the scorchio challenge.
Whoever finishes first will win brunch for four and a Dhs1,000 bar tab at Lock, Stock and Barrel.
The challenge will take place at both the Barsha Heights and JBR locations.
And if you fancy a go at the flatbread outside of the competition, you can ponder over it at your leisure for Dhs69.
