Just in time for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, a brand-new sports bar is set to arrive in town, and it looks like it’s going to bring a refined and classy hangout for the city’s sport-loving folk to enjoy.

Found at the Fairmont Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road, The Trophy Room is set to open at the end of May, and it’s making some big promises.

We’re liking the look of this clean-cut, gold-trimmed sports lounge – which has TVs lining the main bar area, large screens dotted around the venue and a master screen made up of nine individual screens at one end.

With a trophy cabinet, low-slung seating and an exposed ceiling that gives the place a classy-yet-industrial edge, The Trophy Room looks set to be a top place to catch the game.

And it’s a good thing too, because the bar will be here in time for the World Cup, for which it is hinting at some special promotions, but more on that to come soon.

Throughout the week we’re looking forward to a tonne of really cool promotions, including the “longest happy hour on Sheikh Zayed Road”, a ladies’ night offer, a chicken wings and hops deal, every single World Cup match and one very interesting promotion that has got us intrigued…

When the Premier League starts again in August, a new offer will run for selected games, which will see the price of drinks reduced by five percent every time a goal is scored. Here’s hoping for a 5-5 thriller every week then…

On top of drinks promotions, The Trophy Room will also have a pretty eclectic menu – think golden chicken nuggets, gold-dusted fries and bacon-stuffed olives with Parmesan cheese, as well as slightly more conventional British and European pub grub.

We can’t wait to check this place out, and it’s going to be open very soon indeed.
Coming soon. Fairmont Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road.
