Dubai’s 7 Elephants closes its doors for good

The trendy DIFC bar has permanently shut

Trendy DIFC bar 7 Elephants has closed its doors for good.

Time Out Dubai has received confirmation of the closure, but currently no more information is available.

The al fresco spot at Emirates Financial Towers opened to much fanfare in 2017, before temporarily closing for the summer. After re-opening and launching a brunch, it’s now shut down permanently, just over a year after opening.

The sprawling, outdoor space served up plenty of deals, and an interesting menu based around flavours and cuisines from seven different regions from the Middle East to Britain.

There was also a stock market-style, fluctuating price strategy for drinks.

7 Elephants is one of several bars that has closed in recent weeks, with Sass Café announcing its departure from the Dubai nightlife scene this week, as well as the loss of Societe.

Long-standing Dubai bar 360° will shut this weekend with a mega party.

However, it’s not all bad news for nightlife lovers in Dubai, as we’ve also recently welcomed Drai’s Dubai, Soho Garden, Gotha Dubai, Dome, Seven Sisters, 1 Oak and Poppy by David Myers.
