Time Out Says
A relatively new addition to the otherwise pleasant but unremarkable No.5 Lounge, it’s the standalone Terrace venue which really makes this worth a trek across town. Sitting a couple of floors up in the midst of DIFC’s gleaming, angular high-rises, it feels remarkably spacious where it could have felt claustrophobic, offering a novel perspective by being neither on the ground floor, nor the top. Crucially, it’s accessible to the rest of the complex via a standalone walkway from DIFC, removing the need to ever step inside the hotel, a key in attracting an affluent post-work crowd you’ll find here. With top decksmith DJ Lobito dropping Latin and funk-infused beats (Monday to Friday), coupled with a top signature ‘Hola Guapa’ ladies’ night, offering tapas and bubbles between 8pm and 10pm every Wednesday, it’s easy to see why we keep coming back for more.
