Time Out Says
There are two bars actually. The one inside the restaurant is just as cool as you’d expect, but the one outside, halfway along the pier, poking out over the water, is a real knockout.
There is simply no other bar like it in Dubai. It’s intimate (with enough space for about 40 people comfortably, though there is another seating area further up the pier) and has 360° view that takes in Pierchic, Al Qasr and the Burj Al Arab.
The drinks range from fine Scottish short beverages and elegant grape varieties to inventive mixed beverages using ingredients such as foie gras, bread and butter, and truffle.
Service is fantastic too, the ladies and gents behind the bar really know their stuff and are a pleasure to talk to.
It’s a little expensive, of course, with some mixed beverages coming in at around the Dhs100 mark. But given the location and its reputation, you shouldn’t expect anything else.
The bottom line Every bit as awe-inspiring as the restaurant, Pierchic’s outdoor bar is an impressive place for a pre- or post-dinner drink.
