A cosy no-frills bar ideal for watching sports

Time Out Says

With black walls, a black floor, black bar and black tables and chairs, you may think you’ve taken a wrong turn and walked into a basement, however, this is Quantum. It’s small, dark yet cosy and inviting at the same time.

Although the space isn’t large there’s a surprisingly wide selection of areas to sit down. You can take a seat at the bar and enjoy the nuts on offer or if you’re feeling more sociable there are several tall tables you can stand or sit at. Better still, black comfy leather sofas line the walls to make this a great place for relaxing and catching up with friends.

Have we mentioned the TV screens? There are nine screens showing various sports channels at Quantum, so no matter where you sit you’ll always have a great view of the match.

The selection of drinks on offer is good, with draft hops starting from Dhs25 and glasses of grape from just Dhs35. Plus between 5pm-8pm there’s a daily happy hour with two-for-one on selected beverages. The bar snacks menu is more modest but includes classics such as fish and chips and mini hot dogs.

It’s not a huge space, but for cosy sports bar it has its place.

The bottom line
A decent enough spot for sports.
