Time Out Says
You could step in here at any time of day or night and quickly lose track of time, mostly due to the pool table, the multiple screens showing all manner of sports, and the complete lack
We feel cut off from the rest of the city – in the best possible way – and the dark interiors combined with the glare from the TV screens create a little cavern ideal for settling in and watching the match.
When we visit on a Thursday night, plenty of people are doing just that, but there are also groups of friends and the post-work crowd who are oblivious to the sports and are here to enjoy the lively atmosphere.
Drinks are very reasonable and we enjoy a pint of hops for Dhs42, while grape by the glass starts from Dhs35. There’s also a load of mixed drinks for Dhs45, which we think is an excellent deal.
The menu includes plenty of appetisers including fish fingers and chicken nachos and main courses including a range of Mexican, English and Indian offerings as well as some burgers and salads.
A low-key sports bar with a decent atmosphere and top snacks, what’s not to enjoy?
The bottom line
Chilled-out with a great local pub vibe.
