It’s all about the jaw-dropping views at this sky-high bar

Time Out Says

Set on the 71st and 72nd floors of the JW Marriott Marquis, this swish, sky-high bar is elite. It looks plush and feels exclusive – you’ll want to dress up for this one. It’s well worth a visit during happy hour, which offers select drinks from Dhs30 daily from 5pm to 7pm. Stay and watch the sun set from those expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.

Head here on a Friday, though, and you’ll likely find yourself in among post-brunching 007s fresh from the GoldenEye-themed feast at Prime68. Just know that the Locked In Fridays promotion offering free-flowing drinks for Dhs295 from 8pm to 11pm will be keeping that raucous crowd entertained all night.

Ladies’ night is another busy one. Gals, get here early on a Tuesday if you want to take advantage of the three free drinks from 8pm until midnight. Gents aren’t left out either, with their night on a Wednesday from 8pm to 10pm, offering a free mixed drink and grape or malt beverages paired with cigars.

Prices are a little on the steep side – but what would you expect from a bar at the top of the world’s tallest hotel. And staff are helpful and happily leave you to just sit back and soak up those views.

The bottom line
Prepare to be blown away by the vista.
